Terms of Use
Last updated: 3 November 2026
These terms apply to everyone who visits rameglobal.com or uses a RAME account. By using the site, you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. About RAME
rameglobal.com is a music business media site published by RAME (see the Legal Notice). It offers stories, the RAME Charts, the RAME Play games, videos and a newsletter. Reading the site is free.
2. Your RAME account
- You must be at least 15 to create an account.
- Give accurate details and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- One account per person. Your player name must not impersonate anyone or be offensive; we may change or remove a name that breaks this rule.
- You can delete your account at any time by emailing contact@rameglobal.com.
- Accounts inactive for 6 months are closed and their data deleted, after an email warning.
3. RAME Play and prizes
RAME Play games are free to play. No purchase or payment is ever needed to take part or to win. Results depend on your knowledge of music, not on chance.
Anyone can play without an account. An account is needed to appear on leaderboards and to win prizes. Eligibility, scoring, prizes, dates and how winners are contacted are set out in the rules shown on the RAME Play page, which form part of these terms.
We may disqualify players who cheat, use several accounts, use bots or scripts, or exploit errors. We may withhold a prize in that case.
4. Our stories and editorial independence
Editorial is never for sale; promotion is. Our editorial choices are made by RAME alone. Any paid partnership, sponsored story or promotion is clearly labelled as such.
We work to keep stories accurate, but we cannot guarantee that every detail is complete or current. Stories are for information and are not financial, legal or investment advice. To report an error, email contact@rameglobal.com.
5. RAME Charts
RAME Charts are compiled by RAME from public data, using our own method. They are published for information and entertainment and may contain errors. The public charts are shown with a one-day delay. Chart positions are not an official industry ranking.
6. Using our content
The RAME name, logo, design, stories, charts and graphics are protected by intellectual property law. You may share links to our pages and quote short extracts with a credit to “RAME” and a link. Any other reproduction or commercial use needs our written permission.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the site for anything unlawful, or to harass or harm others;
- try to access accounts, data or systems that are not yours;
- interfere with the site’s security or operation, or overload it;
- copy content or chart data in bulk with bots or scrapers (search engine indexing is allowed);
- use RAME content to train AI models without our written permission.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Where it is reasonable, we will tell you why first.
8. Links and third-party content
The site links to and embeds content from other services, such as YouTube, Instagram, Apple Music and Deezer. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content or availability.
9. Availability
We aim to keep the site available at all times but may interrupt it for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control. Features may change or end.
10. Liability
RAME is not liable for indirect losses, or for losses caused by your misuse of the site, by third-party services, or by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your rights as a consumer.
11. Privacy
How we use personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Notice.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change affects account holders significantly, we will tell you by email or on the site at least 15 days before it applies.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country. Please contact us first at contact@rameglobal.com so we can try to resolve any issue. Otherwise, disputes go to the competent French courts, and consumers may also use the courts where they live.
